Apple patented a Water Resistant Speakers

Apple has filed a new patent that includes a concept iPhone speakers and waterproof bone conduction technology that could bring noise cancellation future EarPods.

The first application that has been found in the Patent Office of the United States is entitled "Acoustic Device resistant to liquids" and details a protected port that uses a kind of "umbrella" inserted between starts to obstruct access of liquids.

The design sketch, curious and mysteriously, is very similar to the current iPhone speakers. Read on to discover how this technology works.

¿Speaker water-resistant? Features Ideal for listening to music in the shower!

If the liquid enters through the openings, immediately come into contact with umbrella and be redirected away from the internal hardware to avoid structural damage.

Apple's invention also includes a second line of defense for liquids, as a "hydrophobic" protective layer located on the outer surface of the iPhone would help carry out liquids.

As happens with other Apple patents , the company could choose not to carry out the development of this technology. Anyway, the Apple Watch and currently has a system almost identical resistance to liquids.

Speaking of other devices, it is rumored that the iPhone 7 will also be waterproof , but whether the new patent would be related to the next-gen smartphone Apple.

Apple is still working on improving their EarPods

Today has also found a new patent called "system and method of mixing signals accelerometer and microphone to improve voice quality in a mobile device." This patent discloses EarPods with bone conduction able to drastically reduce the external noise environment.

By using the accelerometer, according to the patent, it could detect vibrations of the vocal cords, with the microphone, the system could measure the signals and eliminate vibration noise.

Finally, remember, Apple is working on a Bluetooth EarPods rumored that could come with the iPhone 7, although there is still nothing confirmed.
