If you are born with a soul of a gamer, every console is a gear to change the level of speed and thereby excitement. In Apple eco-system, you can easily switch one display to another with the same content. For gamers, iPad and iPhone could be a better console, but if users want to enjoy games on bigger screens like TV, they can play their games on TV via Apple TV.
All they need to do is to add a game controller to their Apple TV. If you have got a third-party gaming controller, you can add the same to your Apple TV.
How to Plug-in a Game Controller to Apple TV
Step #1. Switch the controller ON.
If you are using SteelSeries Nimbus, you can turn on by switching the Hold button to ON. If you have already paired the controller, you need to press and hold the Bluetooth button.
Step #2. Launch Settings on Apple TV with the help of Siri.
Step #3. Launch Remotes.
Step #4. Go to Device and then Bluetooth.
Step #5. Locate your game controller and click on the entry.
Your game controller will be paired automatically after some time.
You can also add your iPhone or iPad as the game controller for your Apple TV. But before you could pair the two devices, you need to open the game you want to play on both devices, i.e. Apple TV and iPhone/iPad. Now follow the instructions for pairing.
What if there is any trouble while adding a game controller to Apple TV? Follow the steps mentioned below:
Step #1. Ensure that the controller is fully charged.
Step #2. Restart controller by switching it OFF and ON again.
Step #3. Restart Apple TV.
Step #4. If you fail to disconnect your controller from the previous Bluetooth device, please disconnect it at the earliest.
Still have a problem? Perhaps you should click or tap on the device and then “Forget Device” from under the Bluetooth screen.
