iOS 10: Apple let us Request Medical Records through HealthKit

If you've ever tried to get your medical records at a doctor's office, you'll know how frustrating it can be. Even if you gain access, it can be very difficult to know diagnose the results.

With iOS 10 , you can order these medical reports directly from your iPhone, as long as your doctor will follow a small step in order to digitize your report.

Medical reports can be stacked in a pile of documents, or perhaps a CD. If your doctor digitizes your reports, then you can access them online.

HealthKit, improve your health is a matter of taps

HealthKit , the technology behind Health, the health application Apple will soon be able to request medical reports.

"The HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) version is a standard document that specifies the structure and semantics of clinical documents for the purpose of exchanging data between patients and providers."

Your privacy will not be compromised in any way, applications that ask for documents must be governed by strict rules that prevent writing new data in the reports stored on the iPhone.

Why did Apple do this?

The Cupertino company tries to focus all its efforts on improving its Health app for the welfare of its members. If you can access important information about your health on the iPhone, you're probably more likely to improve your health.

On the other hand, as we have from The Next Web , Apple is opening HealthKit other third party applications. If your doctor has its own application, you could enter the view of your rings of activity and provide health results and reports.

We are facing a big step in technology smartphones. Even if you usually do not usually use the Health app or HealthKit, these innovations are more likely to use the application more times throughout the year. Not to mention, it will make life a little easier doctors ...
