Samsung Gear IconX, wireless headphones with heart rate sensor

ext to the Samsung Gear Fit 2 , the South Korean company has also introduced new Gear IconX, wireless headphones that come with the peculiarity of incorporating a sensor heart rate in your design. In addition to recording the beating of our heart, these headphones also monitor the calories burned or distance we have traveled to then integrate that data into the application of S Health.

The IconX will be available in stores from July, and we have to wait until then to know the details of the starting price and availability. The new smart bracelet, meanwhile, will land in stores this month of June.

IconX, wireless sports headphones

Wireless, sports and logging functions activity. So are the Samsung Gear IconX, a wireless headset (independent of each other, both with in-ear design) that come with the idea of meeting the needs of users who are used to record their physical activity while exercising. Although incorporate the design of a conventional headphones, the most striking is its sportier side.

The Gear Icon X are able to record not only our heart rate (via sensors that come into contact with our ear), but also record other data such as the distance we have traveled or calories we have burned. Then, all that information is synchronized with the application of S Health.

4 GB of internal memory of these headphones are designed for us to store our music locally (up to 1,000 songs) and can play songs without carrying over the phone. Control music playback, incidentally, can be done from the touch pad headphones.

The box in which come these headphones also features a rechargeable battery that provides up to two full charges for IconX. That means six hours of autonomy headphones themselves could add 12 additional hours in total.

Samsung Gear Icon X, Availability

The Samsung Gear Icon X hit the market from next July, and will be compatible with all Android phones that run under Android 4.4 or higher and also have 1.5 GB (or more) of RAM capacity.
