Apple patented a device for Wearable Health Monitoring

Yesterday you were talking in iPadizate of a mysterious new wearable device in which Apple is working focused on health monitoring. Well, today we bring you a new patent filed by the US company that would refer to a device like this.

Apple has invented a new portable device health measuring electrocardiographic signals through a series of electrodes embedded therein. The patent was recently granted by the Patent and Trademark United States, and in it some schemes with a different device designs the clock that could be used in different areas of the body are.

As shown in the description of the patent, the electrocardiographic measurements are based on multiple readings of electrodes may vary depending on the body part in which is recorded. Thus, the device would adapt intelligently to get as accurately as possible in different parts of the body.

Will we soon see this health device Apple?

The patent describes how a user wearing the device on his arm can take steps manually. You only have to colored finger on an electrode which is not in contact with the body, so that the device compares the readings to calculate an accurate measurement.

As we said above, recently there has been talk that Apple is working on a new tracking device for health that could be launched alongside the iPhone in 2017. It is believed that this device will have many applications and functions related to health capable of collecting data such as heart rate, changes in heart rate, blood pressure or blood sugar in the blood, among other things.

However, it seems unlikely that this patent relates to this new device, but it serves to get an idea where the shots research and work done by Apple in this area. It also leaves expensive than Apple is not opposed to developing a new portable device that must not necessarily be linked to Apple Watch.
