Parrot Disco, the first fixed-wing drone

Parrot announces the official launch of Parrot Disco, the fixed-wing drone capable of flying and perform amazing aerobatics for 45 minutes at a maximum speed of 80 km / h.

In recent years we have used to seeing drones. But most of them are characterized by cuatricopteros. That is, work by using four or more engines. This time what presents Parrot is a different unmanned vehicle whose design is based on more traditional design, a fixed-wing aircraft. That is, that of a plane with a design in V.

For a fully immersive experience Parrot has also created HeadPlay FPV glasses, the Cockpitglasses Parrot, which broadcast live aerial footage captured by the front camera Full HD drone.

The Parrot Disco is able to take off and land automatically, and can be driven without the need of prior experience. This is possible because it has an autopilot function that helps control the flight.

It includes a new compact remote control, the Parrot Skycontroller 2 with two joysticks that are handled separately and control speed, direction, altitude, etc. Thanks to this controller we can guarantee to some extent the accuracy of the flight. Although if you prefer we can use it with other controls. Disco Parrot is also compatible with most remote controls RC type.

This fixed-wing drone is piloted through the free application FreeFlight Pro (available in AppStore and Google Play) and also allows the ability to record high-quality aerial images using your memory of 32 GB.

If you want to initiate you into this world of drones, the Parrot Disco can be a good choice.
