SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC SD card the world first 1TB Memory Card

We are used to our phones and other mobile devices that abound in our hands have limited capabilities. It is a consequence of the lack of space and is something we accept without further. However, the technology allows to make great strides and although this time we have not come back to the moon what you have is also quite important. At least for techie. SanDisk, which has become part of the company Western Digital has used its presence at Photokina 2016 trade show in Cologne held from 20 to 25 September, the first prototype of a SD memory card 1TB capacity.

This product makes sense in environments that require large amounts of memory. For example, in devices such as digital cameras reflex. Or provide support for memory devices, virtual reality, video surveillance systems. And for those that record video to 360 degrees.

In this card we can store up to 1250 episodes of a series in full HD resolution. Or store up to 200,000 songs, 310,000 photos or near 700000 data files. This card has a size that strictly complies with the SD format. Size to which many will already be familiar. It is a small piece of plastic but provides us with a great capacity.

We should note that two years ago SanDisk introduced the SanDisk market 512GB SDXC card, and now continues the tradition of increasing the capabilities of this. By the time the card is only in prototype form and so far the company has not yet announced the exact date it will launch this new SD card. Clearly not the official prices of the same are known ... .but you do not expect something cheap. You serve only for comparison, SanDisk SDXC 512GB sells for about US $ 345.
