Adding reactions to iMessages received

Sometimes it is preferable to messages with some kind of visual effect rather than simply writing text and for that Apple implement in the messages application animated so you can better express what you feel reactions. Then we'll show you how to use these reactions both iOS and Mac platforms.

Send reactions iOS

To send a reaction, you'll need to tap and hold on the iMessage any of your contacts sent you. After doing so, you'll see a bubble with some new to react to the message that was sent you options.

Once the sender opens the conversation, you will see the reaction on the top right of the chat bubble.

Send reactions macOS

In addition, you can also send the reactions from the message app on your Mac. To do this, click and hold on a message that one of your contacts sent you via iMessage. Having done this, a bubble will appear reactions.

Now, simply click on the reaction you want to send, and will be placed in the message bubble like as seen in iOS.

To send and receive reactions with all its features, you must run iOS 10 or macOS Sierra and this feature works on all Apple devices, including iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Mac.

Unfortunately, if someone sends you an IMessage and you have an earlier version of iOS or MacOS, you will only see testo instead of the image corresponding to the reaction.

It should be noted that the reactions do not work with SMS messages, as they are intended only iMessages. You can realize that when you're using iMessage chat bubbles are blue instead of green.
