iOS 10 already in 60% of iPhone and iPad Compatible

From time to time the US company updates its official website Developer Center to present new figures on the rate of adoption of its latest mobile operating system, in this case iOS 10. And the truth, we must recognize that iOS 10 is having a great acceptance among users of iPhone and iPad, is that today is already present in 60% of compatible devices.

If we look back, we can see how at the end of September iOS 10 had an adoption rate of 34%. Now, a month later, that percentage has nearly doubled and is at 60%, a rate that is not bad especially when compared with other mobile operating systems like Android.

And it is that Android, its main competitor, suffers great fragmentation due to the large number of devices running some version. Not to mention all the time that passes since Google launched an update to Android until the various manufacturers adapt it to their devices, something that does not always happen.

60% of iPhone and iPad are already running iOS compatible 10

Apple has revealed via its official website that iOS Developer Center 10 is present in 60% of iPhone and iPad compatible. This represents an increase of 6% compared to the latest figures published in mid-October.

On the other hand, I must say that in the graph published by Apple is how the presence of iOS 9 goes down gradually and is now only 32% of compatible devices. Meanwhile, earlier versions of these only represent a market share of 8%, a minimum percentage.

Finally, say that it is expected that the rate of adoption of IOS 10, to continue marching to this apace. Moreover, it is estimated that by the end of the year is present in 85% of compatible devices.
