Rumors about the integration of the Home button on the iPhone screen future continue to grow. And now more so, since Apple has released a new patent that would allow the smartphone to recognize fingerprints on almost all parts of the screen.
The patent, discovered by Patently Apple describes as an electrostatic field difference grooves fingerprints to apply their recognition in a capacitive screen.
In the patent, Apple highlights the reason why many rumors suggest that the Home button is embedded within the iPhone screen 8.
"THE FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION SYSTEMS THAT INCLUDE CAPACITIVE SENSORS TO DETECT FINGERPRINT IMAGES SHOULD BE ALIGNED WITH OTHER COMPONENTS OF THE ELECTRONIC DEVICE, SUCH AS TOUCHSCREENS AND BATTERIES DISPLAY."
A previous patent described a different approach to achieve the same goal, but through ultrasound imaging method. On the other hand, the Chinese company Xiaomi launched a smartphone with this technology. Apple said the technique is more accurate than the Touch ID functionality, but requires a fixed location.
The Home Touch iPhone button 7 has considerably improved functionality over previous generations, in fact, your Touch ID is much faster than other models. In addition, the new Home button engine táptico helps improve water resistance iPhone and is much more sensitive.
