So far in the iOS App Store, only they could redeem codes for downloading applications. But now Apple will allow developers to distribute Promocodes for in-app purchases.
According to Apple, developers can deliver up to 100 codes for each element in-app purchases of applications and games from the App Store via iTunes Connect.
Thus, they will have a maximum limit of 1,000 codes for each application for 6 months. This means that if an application developer has 10 elements can share 1,000 Promocodes among users of the App Store .
From 9to5Mac report that the codes can be ordered from the "My Applications" and are reset on January 1 and July 1.
Promotional codes for in-app purchases will be available to all developers
In the past, some developers had the opportunity to offer free content for a limited time in-app purchases of their apps for iPhone and iPad. But this change is official, and best of all , it works in a similar way to how they do it the usual way codes.
Thanks to this new benefit developers can maintain a more dynamic interaction with users of the App Store offering contests, special offers and gifts. In addition, they may allow analysts applications to access all the contents of the applications for reviews on blogs and YouTube.
Now, dear Apple, just need to incorporate codes in shopping TVOS App Store for Apple TV. 😉
