Apple will momentarily close iTunes Connect at the end of December

On this day, Apple announced that its annual holiday closure of iTunes Connect will take place between December 23 and December 27, 2016. Basically this means that new apps and updates will be accepted during the period mentioned Previously, so the App Store and the Mac App Store will remain immutable.

For those who do not know, iTunes Connect is a service of iTunes developers and partners to send their applications and other content to Apple's content stores. This means that there will be new applications or updates of apps in the App Store and Mac App Store between the dates 23 and 27 December.

Apple told the developers the following:

"The most active season in the App Store is almost here. Make sure your applications are up to date and ready for the winter break. New applications and updates will not be accepted from December 23 to 27 of the same month (Pacific time), so any launch must be submitted, approved and scheduled in advance. "

The Cupertino company said other features of Connect iTunes and certain features of the developer account will remain available during the holiday closure period.

This also implies that end users (us) should not expect updates from our favorite apps during this "holiday period" in which Apple closes its doors to leave the App Store and the Mac App Store with new applications and updates.

Still, it's only about four days when Apple's software stores will remain virtually unchanged, and it's likely that users will be more aware of festive dates than keeping up on new apps.
