How to Protect Your Apps with Password on iPhone and iPad

Keep your privacy intact on the iPhone or iPad is not easy, there is always someone willing to resist the temptation to take a good look at our applications and content ...

But fortunately, there is a very useful tool for protecting iOS applications and password method to avoid prying eyes.

However, to complete the process you need to have the Jailbreak installed, since it is effected through a tweak of Cydia.

How to password protect your most private apps

1. Install the Jailbreak of iOS 9.x .

2. Open Cydia.

3. Enter the BigBoss repo.

4. Find the tweak Lockdown Lite.

5. Click on "Install".

Here 's what you should do is set preferences for Lockdown Lite in the Settings application. It is important to block the configuration preferences of this useful Cydia tweak, since anyone who knows the Jailbreak could deactivate it and access the contents of the applications.

To password protect a specific application simply click on "Lock Apps & Folders" and active all applications for iPhone and iPad you want to block.

Some applications have an exclamation mark indicating that it is advisable not lock them with a password (such as Cydia) and that could mean serious trouble if you forget the password.

The trial version of Cydia tweak Lockdown Lite is free, but the Pro version costs $ 0.99. The Pro version does not activate excessive additional functions, so we recommend to stay in the Lite version unless you like this tweak very much.
