One of the features of Twitter is that you can use the built-in night theme, which allows you to remove the white background of the app by replacing it with a dark background with clear text.
Once the dark mode is activated, the eyes can finally stop straining and resting. But this has a small drawback, and Twitter does not allow this feature to be turned on or off quickly and easily. Therefore we present a new free jailbreak tweak called TwitterThemeToggler.
After installing TwitterThemeToggler, you can activate the night mode in the Twitter application with no more than a single "tap and hold" in the navigation bar of the application, as shown in the following image.
By means of this simple gesture is made much faster application of the dark mode, than having to go to Twitter settings and activate the feature.
This tweak has no options to configure and when you have installed it you can start using it immediately. However, you probably have to force the Twitter app to close by using the App Switcher and reopen it for the tweak to take effect.
It is not known at this time if a future update of the Twitter app could make this tweak unusable; If it does, the developer will have to update the tweak to remain compatible. Keep this in mind before updating your Twitter app every time an update comes out.
Apparently, the tweak works well with the latest version of the Twitter app (version 6.68.1) that can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
If you are interested in trying TwitterThemeToggler, you can download it for free from the BigBoss Cydia repository.
