Instagram will disable commenting on individual posts

Instagram is one of the favorite platforms to share photos with your contacts, yet all is not good, because the social network is in a constant struggle against the abuse of their service. Therefore, Instagram, announced today that a new tool will allow users to completely shut down comments in individual posts.

Instagram confirmed by itself, besides being able to disable comments on individual posts, users can also remove followers in private accounts and delete other people 's comments.

In September, Instagram launched keyword-based comment moderation as another measure to combat spammers who plague honest users with unwanted comments and marketing messages.

To disable commenting on a specific story, tap Advanced Settings before posting and then select "turn off comments."

You can also tap the ellipsis menu at any time after posting to reactivate comments. This feature used to be limited to a small number of accounts, but Instagram has now promised that this feature will be owned by all users in a few weeks.

In the coming weeks will also be added new feature as the ability to give "like" comments by pressing a heart icon next to any comment. And it also solves a problem that prevents undoing the approval of a follower without blocking it.

Now you can remove followers whenever your Instagram account if it is established as private: in your list of followers. To do this, touch the ellipsis button (...) next to a person's name and remove it.

Moreover, the company is expanding privacy options making it easier for users to access support options within the application Instagram and anonymously report that some friends may be thinking of harming themselves.
