The Next Big Challenge in Movie Theaters: Combat Against iTunes Movies

The cinemas, those beautiful places that transport us to completely new places. The dreams of creators around the world, presented in the highest quality, and enjoyed by viewers in comfortable seats, which either help us comfortably follow the beautiful story of the film, or sleep soundly, if not to our liking .

Cinemas are the best place to watch movies and the first place where they usually appear. Or at least it was until now, since the concept of these rooms could be about to expire, because of the entry of a new competitor to the market.

The latest releases, very soon in iTunes

That is, as indicated from Bloomberg in one of his articles, Apple is in talks with Hollywood majors (Universal Pictures, Disney, Paramount ...) to bring your iTunes Store the best movies and disassociating a strategy to Netflix, as discussed in this article . In this way, they would enter into direct competition with cinemas in all regions where the service is available.

And the goal is to have movies each study two weeks after departure in theaters, which would undoubtedly affect the development of these in the lockers. However, the details of the agreements were still being defined, and these conditions could change.

Will it still be worth the film?

The market continues to move toward an increasingly complicated for the rooms, which are forced to create new strategies to attract more public future. No doubt this fact will affect them significantly, but I am sure they can still get ahead.

As I said before, cinema is the best place to enjoy movies, with incomparable picture and audio quality compared to home computers. However, this does not mean they can fall asleep on their laurels, and it will come a time in which most prepended comfort, quality. And in that, they gain video services on demand by much. What do you think of this new movement? Would you still go to movie theaters while still having premiere movies on iTunes?
