This way you can transcribe your voice messages on your iPhone

The iPhone now have an excellent feature that will help us make our voice messages texts. This feature works automatically, so you can read your voice messages - yes, it's a strange thing - without wasting time in unnecessary steps.

This feature is quite useful when it comes to productivity, and not waste time in listening to the message but with a look and know what it says.

We must clarify that this is still in beta, so you can change while you are using. However, if you want to test the transcription feature, you will only need an operator that supports visual voice messages and a recent iOS version.

View and read voicemails

To start using this feature we have to do is the following:

  1. We open the Phone application and touch on the Voice Messages tab.
  2. We played in one of the voice messages they have left us.
  3. If all goes well and our operator supports it , we can see the transcript of the voice message on the screen.

At the bottom of the screen you will see a button transcript to determine if this feature was useful to you or not. You can touch any of the words marked in blue to leave your feedback to Apple.

Transcript not available

If you message written but a legend that says "Transcription Not Available" does not appear when playing the voice message, this means you can not view the transcribed voice message.

This can happen when you have not given the application time to transcribe, or if the service has been dropped or if the message contains unintelligible words. The latter may happen more often.

At the moment, the company Apple has not given us a way to disable this feature, so if you have not done to please, if you find useless or meaningless, all you can do about -at least for the Moment - will ignore the text that will show you. If you delete the voice message from your phone, the transcript will go with it, but this is already a pretty drastic solution.

Any of the transcribed voice messages can be saved or shared as we usually do. This function has no impact on the voice message directly. You even have the ability to share the content of the message written by copying and pasting as we always do in iOS.

This is one of those functions, but no one can get a fixed income at first, yes we used to streamline our day to day, without wasting time listening to a voice memo.

Did you like this feature? Leave your answer in the comments!
