Apple has already released the fifth beta version of TVOS 10.1, the latest version of the operating system for Apple TV.

This new beta arrives just one week after the fourth beta version of tvOS 10.1 and more than two months after the release of tvOS 10.

Designed for the fourth generation of Apple TV, TVOS 10.1 you can be obtained by connecting the Apple TV to a PC / Mac with a USB cable-C to USB-A by downloading and installing the software from a developer account via iTunes or Apple Configurator.

Of course, once installed a beta version of tvOS on Apple TV, the rest of updates come via OTA (Over The Air).

What's new for Apple TV 10.2?

One of the main novelties of TVOS 10.1 is the introduction of the new TV application that Apple presented during the special event on October 27.

The TV application will also be available in IOS 10.2 and serve as a "TV guide" for the series, movies, documentaries, reality shows and TV shows from different platforms online streaming services.

This is a new way to display videos and recommendations based on the interests and tastes of users and synchronizing multiple devices. The TV application will also feature a store from which users can purchase content.

In addition to the new TV application, 10.1 TVOS provide Single Sign-On , a feature that allows Apple TV users log on only once to access all content.

For all those unfamiliar with TVOS 10, the platform brings features such as enhanced search, expansion of Siri features, a new night mode, a Continuity option to use the iPhone as a keyboard, automatic download of Applications and much more.
