You can now post live streaming videos on Twitter with your iPhone

Twitter lags behind live streaming after the furor of other apps like Snapchat, Periscope or Instagram more recently and is pointed out adding new functionality for your iPhone. And since now you can broadcast live videos from the native Twitter app for iPad and iPhone. All thanks to an integration from Periscope, which was acquired by Twitter in 2013.

To start a live video stream, position yourself on the screen to write tweets and click on the Live button. In that time frame you can record whatever you want and simply by touching on Go Live start broadcasting your videos to the world - indeed, the world that constitute your followers -. If you still do not see do not worry, the functionality will be updated in the coming days.

Thus, Periscope is slowly melting in the Twitter experience. In fact, since the beginning of the year Twitter integrated the possibility of seeing Periscope in the timeline, but now goes much further by allowing the broadcast of live videos from the Twitter app through your iPad or iPhone.

As you can see, the streaming comes from Periscope, so both Twitter users and Periscope users will be able to watch the videos, so you do not need to create a Periscope account to start using it.

If the video is live, your audience can leave comments and add the classic heart of "Like" to interact with the issuer. What we do not know yet is if adding the video in the tweet will reduce characters.

If it was the app par excellence to find out all the news from different points of view - and an inexhaustible source of humor - with the addition of the video will still be more. If you have not yet installed the app, feel free to do so to enjoy live streaming on your iPhone or iPad and to demonstrate your ability to synthesize and humor in 140 characters.
