Google launches a children's educational game called Toontastic 3D for iOS

Today, Google launched a new education-focused application aimed at children ages 6 to 8, called Toontastic 3D . With this application, the young people can draw, animate and narrate their own cartoons.

The concept and mechanics of the game is easy to understand for children to feel at home. They simply move their characters around the screen to tell their story. The application records your voice and animations, and saves the content on your device as a video.

Similar to the original Toontastic app launched in 2011, Toontastic 3D allows the little ones to create what they like, including reports from books or science to school, design spaces, stories and cartoons.

According to Google, Toontastic 3D is "a giant toy box filled with adventurous pirates, transforming robots, villains villains and many more characters and awakens the imagination of children."

Below we show you a short promotional video of Toontastic 3D in full action

Kids can use custom color characters or design their own with 3D drawing tools, take self-portraits to add their faces to adventures, mix their own soundtrack with dozens of built-in songs and more.

In addition to a laboratory of ideas composed of playful stories, characters and other scenarios designed to inspire new adventures, the application allows children to select three frames for the digital storytelling of their story: story, classic and scientific report.

This app is ideal for developing the imagination of the little ones as it offers a range of possibilities that are at hand.

The app can be downloaded from the App Store and requires iOS 9 and later.
