How to save iOS 10.2 SHSH for a future jailbreak

As reported by a large number of developers, all who are interested in the jailbreak of IOS 10.2 must keep their SHSH much earlier as may be necessary to carry out the process.

Fortunately, a user named Conan has created an online tool that allows to carry out the whole process in a quick and simple way, so as always, we go into detail below.

In iTunes, click "Serial Number" to switch to ECID.
Copy the hexadecimal code that appears.

Concrete model of the device

On your device, go to "Settings -> General -> Information" and copy the code that appears in the 'Model' section.

How to save iOS SHSH 10.2

As I said, the process is very simple thanks to an online tool that was published a few days ago, so once you have the above data, you simply have to do the following:

  • Enter the data previously found (ECID and model) in the required fields.
  • Select the type of device you are using. For example, iPhone 6s Plus.
  • Click on "Submit".
  • At this point, the tool will generate a link with your SHSH. Keep it safe.

You see, the process is fairly simple, but yes, the bad news is that the iPhone 7 is not compatible with this method, but have warned that they are working on a solution.

Otherwise, and in case the jailbreak of iOS 10.2 see the light when Apple has stopped signing it, thanks to SHSH we can install it without needing to update to the latest version that is available at that time.
