The data are closing around the future of HMD Global and upcoming mobile Nokia Android. We know that there are two smartphones about to come out and that would be presented during the next MWC 2017. There were also rumors that they were in preparation up to 4 more that would come to market during the first half of the year. We have confirmation.
Nokia plans a catalog of up to 7 Android phones
The data come from Avaxx a product authorized Nokia distributor in Malaysia. During an event of this distributor were shown several images with data referring to the plans of HMD Global, company that manages the mark of Nokia. They were not specific on data models, but said the company plans to issue number: 6 to 7 Android smartphones.
Although we intuited the plan thanks to leaks, the presentation would be confirmed: Nokia plans to target the three most common product segments (high, medium and low range). This would cover all potential customers: those looking for a top mobile, those who prefer a price and balanced benefits and who need a mobile as cheap as possible. In this sense, we have some details of the upcoming releases of Nokia: Nokia D1C come in two sizes and two prices.
- 5.7 inches FHD and 3 GB of RAM for $ 200.
- 5 inches FHD and 2 GB of RAM for $ 150.
Although it is rumors, we do know that Nokia will make every effort to have their Android-powered phones win this 2017. Backed by its brand, and with all the status gained over the years (with the arguably uniqueness of Windows Phone ), Nokia will return with force from the ashes. Hopefully HMD Global will be able to keep the essence in addition to the brand.
