The first smartphone with flexible display will be the Samsung Galaxy X Plus

Although everything about flexible displays is science-fiction, flexible display terminals are closer than we expect. Samsung, seems to be the first brand to bring out a smartphone with flexible display, the Samsung Galaxy X Plus.

The world's first folding screen smartphone will be manufactured by Korean company Samsung, according to some leaks. As we saw a month ago, the Korean company would be thinking of launching this device at the end of this year although it would be presented at the next MWC in Barcelona, that if it surely would not arrive alone. It seems that Samsung will create a new range, the Galaxy X. Given the nature of the screen we do not doubt that it will be a high range in terms of performance, at least at the beginning.

Anyway the name seems that has not been confirmed and it only seems that the commercial name for the new device will be Samsung Galaxy X Plus. For now there is no information about the technical specifications of the smartphone and the only thing that has leaked is that it will be released to the market later this year.

This kind of leaks about new devices almost always come from China. According to various sources, the new device would be being tested since it could detect the reference of the same, being its identifier Samsung SM-X9050.

The last thing we tell you about the mysterious Samsung smartphone with flexible screen is that it would arrive with the version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat by default. We will continue to report on this new smartphone with flexible display to be called Galaxy X Plus.
