New real images and data of the Samsung Galaxy S8

We had already seen the first renders of the Samsung Galaxy S8 , but today has come to light a new real image of the terminal.

This image has emerged, as is customary, in Weibo , the Chinese Twitter. Supposedly they are shown by the presentation of the terminal.

The photo does not show the whole smartphone, only its bottom . Even so we can see both sides of the curved screen , with a thin lower edge. We can also see a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Tipe-C port and the speaker grille .


According to the latest leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be released in two versions. One with 5.8-inch screen and one with 6.2-inch screen . Both will be AMOLED with curved edges and will have an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9. It will feature Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), and will be able to recognize pressure strength as Apple's 3D Touch function. It is equipped, as is typical, with a fingerprint scanner .

The main camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels , while the front 8 megapixels , both with aperture F1.7.

As for processor we speak of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos 8895 . With 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory UFS . It will also have microSD slot expandable up to 256 GB. As for battery we talk about 3250 mAh for the lower model , and 3600 mAh battery for the most premium models . You will also have the possibility of fast wireless charging . It incorporates protection against water .

All this will work under the control of Android 7.1.1 Nougat . It supports 4G LTE , dual band Wi-Fi (ac / b / g / n), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC.


It is expected to announce the Samsung Galaxy S8 for March 29 in New York.

In Europe, the price of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be around € 799 for the 5.8-inch version and € 899 for the 6.2-inch version. About 100 euros more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 last year.

Sales are scheduled between April 24 and 30 .
