Since the launch of Yalu102 for iOS 10 and iOS 10.2 Jailbreak users have been unable to make purchases in Cydia , the popular tweaks shop, as it was in beta.
Saurik usually disables purchases every time a new firmware version arrives, until the Jailbreak regains some level of stability . That's right guys, the iOS 10 Jailbreak is officially stable.
The reason for disabling purchases is to prevent complaints, refunds and device issues after purchasing some incompatible tweaks in Cydia.
The iOS 10 Jailbreak is already stable, and Cydia leaves the beta
Today Cydia 1.1.28 has emerged from its beta phase , in combination with the relative stability of the latest beta versions of the Jailbreak Yalu, it seems that Saurik has been satisfied to activate tweaks purchases in Cydia.
The new version of Cydia is available today, and should be automatically updated in the original repository. Either way, installing the new version is not necessary to activate purchases on iOS 10.
Changes in Cydia 1.1.28 include enhancements to the APT, data management package, iOS 10 support, and Cydia conversion to a 64-bit process . This will remove the warning from the 32-bit dialog and solve a good bunch of bugs.
Now that the tweak purchasing system has been enabled, users will enjoy their favorite tweaks, and developers will update their creations more assiduously.
However, as we are informed from iDB , the fact that Saurik has enabled purchases in Cydia does not necessarily imply that all tweaks are available for purchase . What Saurik has done is to enable access to the infrastructure that will enable purchases.
