A North Korean company has launched ... Your own iPad?

The title may sound pretty weird, in fact, the odd thing would be that it did not look like it. However, it is not a joke, and it seems that in North Korea, international laws on trademarks and intellectual property are completely alien to them. The issue is as follows, the North Korean technology company Ryonghung has recently launched a new tablet with the "Ryonghung iPad" brand , thus infringing Apple's rights over the brand name tablet line.

The tablet itself has no resemblance to the iPad we all know today, neither in design nor in features . We find a device quite weak in terms of technical specifications, with only 1 Gb of RAM, a quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz and a memory of 8 Gb. Something normal considering the restrictions to which the inhabitants are subjected Of the country in terms of the use of technology and networks.

Not the first time, but the most obvious

The problem, as we said at the beginning, is that Ryonghung touts this tablet with the iPad brand. Not only in the name of the product, but also in each and every one of the advertising campaigns designed for it , which represents a clear violation of the rights that Apple maintains. And is that the North Korean company has come to promote it in one of the export magazines provided by the same government of North Korea, hence it has been able to know this case.

For now, Apple has not given its opinion on what happened, although it is not very clear that they are going to take legal action , at least for now. This is not the first time that the Californian company sees the companies of the Asian country copying their products, but this is the first case in which they explicitly use one of their brands, so they may decide to act, at least to Protect your image.

And you, what do you think of this? Do you think Apple will protect or let it happen?
