Apple is already preparing to test 5G technology

We are increasingly dependent on our telecommunications networks, in fact, it would be very difficult to get rid of them now. They are so important to so many aspects of our daily lives that we could not imagine a world in which these technologies did not exist without having to go back several lusters in time. Now, we can only look to the future, and assume that they will always be there, but, how will they be in a few years? Will we experience this same feeling of not being able to imagine a future without them?

It seems that the answer will be yes, and is that in a long time we will take the next leap in networks with the beginning of the global implementation of 5G technology . Major companies around the world have already tested what will be the technology that will dominate the communications of a near future, and within a few months, Apple could join this group of pioneers.

Apple will also participate in the development of 5G

The 5G technology allows you to achieve high speeds (up to 10Gbps at the moment) with much lower latencies than the current ones, which will allow technologies such as the autonomous car, which require large, very fast calculations, to reach consumers massively And safely. However, they are still having some problems in taking it to large urban centers, so Apple has decided to start a series of tests in order to find more efficient methods for the use of this technology.

These tests will be conducted in the cities of Milpitas and Cupertino for a period not exceeding 12 months, and equipment will be used that will operate in the 28 and 39 GHz bands. What is not clear yet is why these Testing . It can be understood that telecom operators want to be prepared, but Apple has no clear motive . Maybe it has to do with your future iPhone, or maybe even, as I said before, is related to your project of autonomous car. We will still have to wait a little to find out.

And you, what do you think Apple will do with this new technology?
