How to publish images in Instagram via web

Instagram for iOS is great, a very complete and functional application, but sometimes you just want to publish a new photo without the application spending so much mobile data when updating the feed and other content of the users you follow.

Although previously it was possible to send photos from other iPhone applications through the sharing extension, you can now publish images from the web , including Safari.

In this tutorial we will provide step-by-step instructions on how to upload your photos to Instagram using a mobile web interface without any applications.

How to publish images in Instagram from Safari

1. On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, visit the Instagram website in Safari, Google Chrome or any other web browser of your choice.

2. Then log in from Facebook or through your account credentials.

3. Press the camera button at the bottom.

Tip: If you do not see the new toolbar at the bottom in the mobile web interface try to scroll down or refresh the page.

4. A new menu will appear with several options that allow you to take a new photo, choose an existing image from your photo library or upload a new one from a service in the cloud of your choice.

The following two options are always available:

Take photo: Choose this option if you would like to capture a photo from the camera of your iPhone. After doing so, tap "Use Photo" to create a new Instagram publication.

Photo Library: This option allows you to browse the photo library in search of the photo you want to publish. You just have to press on it to upload it to your new post.

5. Preview your photo to make sure everything looks correct and click on "Next".

6. Write a text that accompanies your publication, if you wish.

7. Click the "Share" button and you're done. It will be published on your Instagram.
