The iPhone 3GS will be listed as obsolete on June 30

According to the latest information, Apple has decided that the iPhone 3GS will become an obsolete product from next June 30.

In this way, those of Cupertino will no longer support the device, so they can not assure that they will have spare parts in the hypothetical case that a customer intends to repair it from that date.

What's more, the iPhone 3GS is not the only device affected, since the complete list consists of nothing more and nothing less than eight products.

Up to eight products will be listed as obsolete as of June 30

  • 16GB and 32GB iPhone 3GS
  • 17-inch MacBook Pro mid-2009
  • 13-inch MacBook Pro mid-2011
  • 15-inch MacBook Pro mid-2011
  • 17-inch MacBook Pro mid-2011
  • MacBook Air 11-inch mid-2011
  • 13-inch MacBook Air mid-2011

First-generation AirPort Express 802.11n
In short, Apple stops supporting one of the best iPhone history, and remember that it was a version much higher than the iPhone 3G, which meant a real revolution back then.

On the other hand, it is important to mention that some models of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will also become obsolete , a decision that surely can affect a greater number of users.
