The iPhone remained the most popular smartphone in the world during the last quarter

Apple has long been a company that cares more than anything for its brand. The company is particularly interested in the reputation it has in the world , as its products are viewed by each and every one of its possible users. So keeping one of your products at the top of a popularity ranking is a really good thing, because you know it will help more people see it with better eyes . That product is the iPhone.

A few months ago, we witnessed the presentation of the new generation of iPhone, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Two phones, which although they were not the most innovative terminals in the market, have managed to place the top of the sales charts . And we do not refer to numbers in a particular region, but these figures are global.

No other brand can beat the iPhone, at least for now

From MacRumors , they have released the latest data that analysis firms have shared these days . We already knew that, this last quarter, the iPhone line sold a total of 50.8 million units. However, now is when we can see the amount of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus that have been sold, and how they have beaten their Asian competitors.

As we can see in the table above, the iPhone 7 managed to place in the top of the list with 21.5 million units sold , while the 7 Plus obtained a figure of 17.4 million. Thanks to this data, we can know that, as a whole, the new generation of iPhone achieved 76.5% of the total sales of the line, according to data provided by Strategy Analytics. With these numbers, you really want to know what the effect of the next iPhone will be.
