Apple will authorize developers to tip in their applications

A few weeks ago Apple asked some developers of Chinese applications to stop asking for tips in their creations, a move that now makes a lot of sense.

According to the latest statements from Cupertino, developers will be able to ask for tipping in their applications as if it were an in-app purchase.

Of course, the fees are subject to a 30% commission, so Apple will be left with almost a third of the extra money that users decide to give developers.

Apple will allow tips on iOS 11 .... Remaining with 30% of the profit

" Apps can use in-app purchases to allow customers to tip retailers in the app. Apps can not include buttons, external links, or other calls to action that directly prompt customers to make purchases other than in-app purchases . "
Similarly, developers who are interested in it, may not include buttons or external links that encourage the user to give a tip , so should be included as an in-app purchase more.

Recall that tip system is very popular in Asian countries like China. Where until now were made through PayPal or using a credit card, a method that Apple will completely change with the arrival of iOS 11 to ease the task to the user, and, all that said, get some extra money.
