More than 200 experts from the app marketing consecrate the Applause 2017

Last Saturday, May 27th took place in W Barcelona the Applause 2017 , where more than 200 experts from the app marketing team gathered to exchange strategies and knowledge about the Mobile Growth sector in our country, as well as increase their networking. This is a resounding success for this second edition of Applause, which confirms the good state of the industry of apps and marketing in Spain, in a fast growth after harvesting 15% more downloads, more than 40% increase in revenue and one 25% more in-app time only in 2016.

The satisfaction was unanimous, both by attendees and speakers and sponsors, and a good proof of this was in social networks, where the event became a trending topic with the hashtag #ApplauseBCN for a few hours in the city.

Moritz Daan , Partner & Co-Founder at Phiture opened the day with "The ASO Stack", Peggy Anne Salz , Founder and Chief Analyst at MobileGroove delighted us with the conference "The ASO Report ". Subsequently, Guy Uziely focused his speech on the return on investment in mobile marketing.

The day was intense, and attendees did not leave their seats to listen to Marta Mateu , Partner Manager on Facebook talking about creating video ads with Facebook Ads in his conference entitled "How mobile is transforming creativity." To close the list of morning speakers came Thierry Guiot , Territory Director South Europe App Annie, spoke about the changes in the market from the smartphone through a case study.

As a final round of the morning, there was an ASO Roundtable with experts such as Daniel Peris, Guillermo Gallardo, Peggy Anne Salz or Thomas Petit, all of whom are successful European industry professionals.

After lunch and with the batteries loaded continued the day Álvaro Gómez , Agency Development Manager at Google talking about Deep Linking. Later Eric Seufert , owner of Heracles and the blog Mobile Dev Memo; Focused on the state of the economy in the apps industry with his talk "State of the App Economy." Shortly after Antonio Calero of MarketPlace Services and Director in AdEspresso, he starred in a master class on "Dynamic Facebook Ads".

In the second set of the afternoon Gessica Bicego , Head of Performance Marketing at Blinkist, gave us some effective tricks of success in "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Mobile Marketers" and Thomas Petit , Growth team member in 8fit, talked about the new platform Advertising for Apple ads on "Apple Search Ads".

The evening round table featured the best in the App Marketing sector : with Carmen Ríos as moderator and Macarena Cenalmor, Milagros Lamas, Tom Farrell and Roberto Sbrolla, managers of such important apps as Infojobs or Cabify.

After a day so intense and productive, the final moments were spent relaxing on the terrace of the hotel, where also was raffled a year of free subscription to The Tool . After the great welcome and success without palliatives, we are left wanting more, look forward to next year in a new edition.
