WhatsApp disappoints with its latest iPhone update

WhatsApp has just released its latest update for iOS that incorporates a series of small improvements to the most used messaging app around the planet. But despite the latest rumors, it still does not include the function we were all waiting for, the deleted message sent , which is not yet available for iOS but for Android.

And is that in fact, the improvements implemented in the latest version of WhatsApp are aimed at improving the experience with photos , something that is grateful but that simply makes us insufficient.

Because with the latest update you can apply filters to the photos you take while you're in the app, something that can also be done with videos and GIFs , so it's a pretty fun feature. Of course, so far only 5 options are available: dubbed Pop, B & W, Cool, Chrome and Film. However, it is not difficult to guess that there are more filters in the bedroom and will soon be incorporated into the official app.

Another of the improvements that we talked about but probably is the favorite of users in the possibility of grouping images in albums when we share them with a contact , something much more useful than the marabout of photos that saturated the conversations and in many Cases were lost in the middle of chats.

Finally, you can also swipe from left to right in individual messages to respond specifically to that phrase , a shortcut to the current method that required a long press until the menu in which you had to select respond.

But surprisingly, the most anticipated and necessary feature, that of recalling messages, is still in the room for iOS . According to some sources, this feature is ready to be activated soon, but the moment is unknown.

With the option to delete sent messages that we can activate by means of the prolonged press of the message in question, we will be able to eliminate sent messages in a time span of less than 5 minutes, be it text, images, videos and GIFs. That yes, as long as these messages have not been opened or read by the receiver .
