Apple Leaves Orphans to iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle

Apple has removed today's iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle from its website globally, so the successful and sold-to-date portable media players have been discontinued. If you try to search on their website, you will not find them though, however, Apple continues to sell the iPod Touch.

Apple introduced iPod shuffle in January 2005, followed by iPod nano in September 2005. iPod sales had been declining for several years before Apple lumped the device into its "Other Products" category in its quarterly results. In the fourth quarter of 2014, the last one to publicly share iPod sales figures, Apple reported 2.6 million iPods sold .

These devices were able to become an egg in a market already very saturated with similar devices, although with much lower characteristics. We must keep in mind that at that time the iPhone was only a project and it was two years before the North American market left . It is perhaps one of these reasons, the launch of devices "all in one", which will have led Apple to stop these mythical devices.

An iPhone has an infinitely greater capacity and for example, the iPod Shuffle only reaches 2 GB, which means that the storage of content is very limited. It may be the chronicle of a death announced and to which we all resisted , thinking it coldly is something that makes no sense with its continuity.

Otherwise, the iPod Touch continues in the stores or the Apple Store, is a very versatile device and has recently undergone a very palatable face wash , being available in 5 very nice colors and features that make it to be in The top of portable music .
