Disaster on the first anniversary of Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO was, from the very moment it was presented in partnership with its first trailer, a game destined to be a victim of anticipation. We were promised a vision, a concept, which, although we knew it could not come true, led to disappointment at the very moment the application was launched . Niantic tried to catch up with the situation, which meant making such an ambitious product with a franchise as important as Pokémon behind. But he did not succeed.

And so it seems, they will not achieve it in the near future. Apart from the problems they had, they had succeeded in creating an important community in the game, one that remained even though the game was not at its best. It was by no means commensurate with the number of players who had at some point downloaded GO Pokémon, but it was still an interesting figure for a mobile video game. After the Pokémon GO FEST, it is not clear what will happen to it .

Pokémon GO Fest, another bug for Niantic's extensive list

To celebrate the anniversary of its launch, Niantic planned a special event in Chicago, the Pokémon GO Fest. In it, fans could participate in a massive Pokémon catch, however, the thing did not go too well. In fact, it was a complete disaster. More than 20,000 people attended, but very few could access the game . Even fewer who managed to capture something.

This large agglomeration managed to saturate not only the network of the area, but also could with the servers of the own Niantic, that stopped working correctly during the event. The fans that were did nothing more than express their discontent, and rightly so, because the lack of foresight of the developer was loud. What was a celebration, became the biggest representation of what had happened to the game since its release.

Now, the question is, will they be able to do something well after so many failures?
