Facial recognition in 3D would replace Touch ID on the iPhone 8



Yesterday we echoed KGI statements in which the renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple would not include Touch ID on the iPhone 8 due to numerous problems when implementing it under the screen.

Well, according to Bloomberg, Touch ID would be replaced by 3D facial recognition , a new security measure that would not only allow unlocking the terminal, but would also be used to make payments through Apple Pay and other applications.

In the same way, it seems that Apple's face recognition would not be limited to just capturing the image as such, but it would also do the same with depth to have more information from the user and thus avoid giving false positives.
