Intimate Enemies: Samsung will re-manufacture iPhone in 2018

Apple and Samsung have been struggling in an epic technological battle virtually since the first iPhone marketing story . Both companies have sued each other for plagiarism and patent infringement, the signature of the bite apple proved in court that Samsung had copied certain aspects of Apple's smartphone.

It is logical and reasonable that Apple and Samsung have such conflicts, it should be noted that so far are the two companies that best smartphones and tablets produce in the market . But, curiously enough, they are intimate enemies. They need each other.

Samsung refuses to lose the revenue provided by Apple, and for its part the firm of Cupertino may want Samsung Electronics to manufacture the iPhone's processors in 2018 , not to mention the AMOLED screens ...

Apple and Samsung: business by necessity

According to a new leak collected by The Korea Herald , Samsung has managed to reach an agreement thanks to the company's decision to buy the necessary machinery to manufacture 7-nanometer chips . This way, Samsung also ensures the delivery of OLED screens.

And Samsung, as a supplier, has provided between 70 and 92 million OLED panels for the 10th anniversary iPhone. On the other hand, it is expected that the screens of the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus are LCD.

A couple of years ago Samsung participated, together with TSMC, in the production of the iPhone with the manufacture of A9 chips. Recently it was the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company itself alone in charge of creating the A10 chips for the iPhone 7 and the A11 chips of the iPhone 7s. And now, apparently, Samsung will take over the manufacture of the processors next to TSMC.
