Oneplus 5 or Honor 9, titan duel

This summer we have just started with the presentation of two of the terminals that will give more to talk about the panorama of the high-end smartphones. It is true that this is not a Samsung, an LG or a Google Pixel, but what we offer these Chinese mobile phones are high-end features at a significantly lower price. But from OnePlus 5 or Honor 9, which one do we choose?

Possibly we are facing the two high-end terminals with better quality / price ratio, that is, with permission of Xiaomi Mi6. Both the OnePlus 5 and Honor 9 are terminals that culminate a saga of each of the two manufacturers after a tour where they have been polishing the characteristics of the terminals of other years and we have reached the point culmen. But let's see what to decide, the first is a comparison of their specifications.

OnePlus 5 or Honor 9, Which one do we choose?

This so far has been the comparison of specifications by paper. However, if we do it in the real world, that is, we compare one terminal against the other face to face, what do we have? Well let's see what is the OnePlus 5 or Honor 9.

In this respect we may see a clear winner. The OnePlus 5 camera on the paper is already superior in both megapixel quantity and focus of features like the telephoto lens provided by the OnePlus 5. However it seems that the OnePlus terminal may be giving more than one problem with the Camera in its initial versions but that fast are being corrected with periodic updates.

In this aspect we will find one of the most different points between the two terminals. While the OnePlus 5 mounts a screen of 5'5 inches AMOLED, Honor 9 opts for IPS technologies at a considerably lower size, about 5'12 inches. However, as it already happens between its suppliers OnePlus 3T and Honor 8, both screens give excellent performance and we can not decant for one or the other beyond that you like a smaller or larger.

We are facing two terminals that do not lack power for any site. One takes the famed Snapdragon 835 processor and the other carries the top of its own manufacturer, the Kirin 960. Both are bestial processors, perhaps something ahead of the Snapdragon 835. However, what makes this section a terminal go Better than the other is the software. It is not the same to run almost pure Android as is the case of Oxygen OS that run EMUI 5.0, an increasingly improved layer but that does not stop loading the system. In this aspect we give winner to OnePlus 5.

Although the power section is somewhat more objective than this design, there is no doubt that one of the most criticized points of the OnePlus 5 has been design. Many have blamed him as conservative when not copying directly to the iPhone 7. In the case of Honor 9 is still demonstrating the good work Honor is doing in this section and we see how it is possible to have a different Android and also be nice and nothing extravagant. Mixing the metal and glass, beyond the delicacy that can show a terminal that does, has always been a good choice to have a handsome terminal in the hands.

In this aspect we are very even. A difference of less than 100 euros between one terminal and another is not that it is something that will make you decant for one or the other. In short, the issue of design, camera or power will weigh more than the price at which you can get one or the other. At least this is our point of view. Now the decision is in your hands.
