4. Activate the keyboard and press the "+" button.

5. Next, in the popup menu press the "Scan documents" option.

6. The camera will be activated and you only need to focus on the document you want to scan.

7. The system will automatically detect the document and its edges, offering a perfect capture eliminating imperfections and shadows automatically.

8. You can edit the result to fix the edges in case the scanner has failed. Tap on any border and slide your finger to the correct point. Once you are done, click on "Use scanner".

Important: If you want to scan your documents manually, you can disable the automatic mode of this function.

In addition to this useful feature for scanning documents in a couple of simple steps, the Notes native application has many other new features in iOS 11 .
