The iPhone 8 promises to be all screen but could bring a horrible surprise

Ming-Chi Kuo, a popular analyst at KGI Securities, has alarmed Apple's fan community with its predictions for the 2017 iPhone lineup.

First, it confirms rumors about iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus updates, in the form of iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus . Second, it also claims that Apple will launch an iPhone 8 with OLED display .

The analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the iPhone 8 will have an OLED Infinity screen that will cover the entire front of the terminal, with very small side bevels, but also thinks that will have a very unpleasant surprise ...

This is the horrible surprise that could hide the iPhone 8

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 8 Home virtual button will not support touch- screen recognition , meaning that the Touch ID functionality will not be present on the OLED screen, but would be implemented in the back or A side button.

As far as we know, Apple has had some problems with implementing the Touch ID feature on the OLED screen. So the predictions of the KGI Securities analyst would make a lot of sense. However, it is still too early to confirm or deny such ideas.

The iPhone 8's signature apple bite will have a 5.8 inch OLED screen. Reducing the size of their side bezels will mean that the size of the device will be very similar to that of the current 4.7-inch iPhone 7.

As for the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus , Ming-Chi Kuo still thinks they will have an LCD screen and 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches respectively. On the other hand, both models could be made of glass and steel, with a thin aluminum frame.

Ming-Chi Kuo's predictions regarding the Touch ID functionality of the iPhone 8 are based on the technology that Qualcomm recently introduced , since it does not yet have a clear release date.
