Inappropriate videos on the App Store? Learn to disable them in a simple way

In iOS 11, Apple has taken measures simultaneously to block the automatic playback of videos in Safari, but it adds autoplay videos in its own App Store. But fortunately, if you do not want to be annoyed with an autoplay video of a new game every time you scroll through the App Store, there is a way to disable this feature.

Turn off App Store autoplay on iOS 11

The visual aspect is an important part of the redesigned App Store in iOS 11. There is a new section in Today that is dedicated to offering new applications and stories. The new sections dedicated to Applications and Games are archived with videos (especially the Games section).

Fortunately, autoplay videos are muted by default. However, being bombarded by an autoplay video every time you move to a new section can be cumbersome. In addition to being something that has a solution , we will also end up saving mobile data bandwidth or Wi-Fi.

How to disable autoplay videos in the App Store

-Go to Settings and select iTunes and App Store .

-From this page, select Automatic video playback .

-In this screen, you will see three options: On, Wi-Fi only and Off .

The best thing to do here is to deactivate them simply by touching the Off option. But if you're just worried about consuming your mobile data, you can switch to Wi-Fi only.

Apple makes sure to turn off the feature automatically when you are in low power mode or when you are on an internet connection that is not going fast. Now that this feature is off, you can browse the new App Store without being startled by an autoplay video every time you move to a new section.

What do you think of the new App Store? Do you think the new section of Today will help you discover more applications? Share it with us in the comments .
