The new Apple Watch would leave behind an indispensable function

We are already clear what the great news of the next Apple Watch. Thanks to Bloomberg, we were able to know that the third version of the watch would have, for the first time, a model with option for mobile connectivity . And a few days ago, it was ruled out that the new watch would receive a major redesign this year. So, we do not need to walk around giving too many laps to what the new watch will have inside. Now it's time to see what you can do with that hardware.

To begin with, we can go on to the idea that WatchOS might not make the most of its new capabilities. At least, not at first. According to the latest Ming-Chi Kuo report from KGI Securities, Apple would be focusing on improving the usage experience by leveraging its new connectivity. This would not include adding a feature to make traditional calls , which would continue limited by the need to stay connected to the iPhone. However, this does not mean that third-party apps, such as Skype, can not make use of VoIP technology to fill this important gap.

The objective is to offer a good experience of use before implementing new functions

In any case, we should rejoice at this arrival. And is that, thanks to the inclusion of this technology, we can free ourselves a little more from the iPhone. Maybe in a couple of years we managed to get rid of the need to have a phone to use the watch, and thus avoid having to worry about things like the incompatibility of the updates. For now, it is a good sign that they are interested in giving users some independence.

Now we just have to wait for the presentation of the device, which, as with the Series 2, would be done together with the new iPhone next September . We also have to keep in mind that there is a possibility that the launch is limited to certain countries. As we already know by the devices of the competition, it is necessary to reach certain agreements to be able to provide service to the users, especially since the new watch would make use of the virtual SIM or eSIM technology. Hopefully we'll get lucky.

And you, what do you expect most from this Series 3?
