A new survey bets on the failure of the iPhone 8

Over the years, it has become clear that users, in many cases, prefer to stay on the iPhone once they have made the jump from other operating system. It may be because of the difficulty in trying to transfer the files from one device to another, or the offers of its operator, but the vast majority stays with Apple after trying it . The problem comes when we start talking about what device people use.

That users tend to stay in the Apple ecosystem, does not mean at all that they have the latest smartphone. In fact, you'd be surprised to know that there are still people who use the iPhone 3G, despite the problems it gives at this point. And this small detail could mark the fate of the next Cupertino phone , which is about to be unveiled at the Steve Jobs Theater of the new Apple Park.

Will it work as well as we think or will it be a crashing failure?

According to an independent survey by investment firm Piper Jaffray, only 16% of current iPhone users are planning to make the leap to the next generation. This data, are similar to those that had the iPhone 7 at the time, and despite that, managed to achieve some really good figures for the company. The problem with all this is that the iPhone 8 is supposed to be the biggest change since the first iPhone, which should be enough reason to significantly increase this sales expectation.

However, it seems that all the news that have been filtering through the months are not enough for much of the community . Again, we could find ourselves in front of a telephone that, precisely because of making such a radical change, is forgotten because it does not adapt to the real needs of users. Either way, we'll have to wait for the launch to find out.

And you, how do you think Apple will face the launch of the next iPhone 8?
