Apple, license to kill: Will the apple buy the James Bond saga?

Apple continues with its plans to enter the television world and good proof of it is that it is even bidding hard to get the distribution rights of the popular series of films James Bond , the most glamorous British spy in the service of the queen, according to reports the Hollywood Reporter. However, it will not be an easy task, although Amazon also intends to get the iconic saga.

Apparently, the distribution rights belonged to Sony, but concluded after the presentation of Specter, the film of 2015. Of course, it is a very tasty candy, so both Apple and Amazon or the experienced Warner Bros., Fox or Universal they plan to purchase it to add to their agenda. Everything a success and a great advertising campaign to enter a market that is in full swing.

The deal would include the streaming rights to the full catalog of James Bond films and potentially the future of the franchise . At the moment, it is known that Daniel Craig will star in the next installment, but you know ... Other popular actors such as Pierce Brosnan recently or the mythical Sean Connery and Roger Moore also commissioned the English spy.

For many, this saga is almost as strategic as those of Marvel, Pixar or Lucasfilm, so its acquisition would be to hit the table and compete from you to you with the most powerful distributors in the audiovisual landscape.

Apple has long been planning its raid, and its new acquisitions in this matter (Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht) are fighting hard to get the cat to the water. If closed, this agreement would cost the company based in Cupertino an approximate amount of 2,000 to 5,000 million dollars . An investment that could be very profitable.
