Apple removes the iPhone 7 (RED) line from the web

The keynote of Tuesday was an event that we have all followed with a lot of desire. the eagerness to know what Apple would bring to its stores made us look at the screen for a couple of hours .

However, with the introduction of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, Apple has almost noiselessly discontinued its iPhone 7 (PRODUCT) RED and iPhone (PRODUCT) RED 7 Plus models. Apple wanted to give a nod to the fight against AIDS and these models were first introduced in March 2017 , six months after the debut of the iPhone 7.

The two devices were launched in celebration of more than 10 years of partnership between Apple and (RED), with funds provided to the Global Fund to prevent the spread of HIV / AIDS in Africa .

Although the iPhone (PRODUCT) RED 7 and the iPhone (PRODUCT) RED 7 Plus have been discontinued, Apple continues to sell the devices in silver, gold, rose gold, matt black and Jet Black. The price on the iPhone 7 now starts at 639 euros for the 32GB model , while prices start at 779 euros for the iPhone 7 Plus of that same capacity . Apple is offering both devices in 32GB and 128GB configurations. You can check the prices of the models presented here yesterday .

While Apple no longer offers an iPhone (PRODUCT) RED, the company continues to sell many (PRODUCT) RED accessories , including several that were introduced yesterday. There are new Ruby (PRODUCT) 38mm and 42mm Ruby (PRODUCT) belts and (PRODUCT) RED belts with classic buckle (42mm) for 159 euros.

Apple has also introduced a new skin case for the iPad Pro of 10.5 inches (PRODUCT) RED for the iPad Pro with a price of 149 euros and a new (PRODUCT) RED Apple Pencil Case at a price of 35 euros.

Part of the sales of the entire Apple (PRODUCT) RED accessory line is donated to the Global Fund , a charity that funds AIDS-related programs in Africa.
