IPhone 8 Keynote Guide: What to Expect on September 12

The event that will present the Apple iPhone 8 will arrive very fast, and we hope that Tim Cook and Apple announce much more than the new phones. Here is a quick review of what is going to present. Remember that the event starts at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12 at the new Steve Jobs Theater. You can see it live on the Apple website.

iPhone: Three new devices

As this 2017 is the tenth anniversary of the iPhone, the anticipation of the upcoming Apple phones has reached heights we have not seen since Jobs passed away. By all indications, Apple is planning to refresh its current models with the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7S Plus , and will also announce a third model, an authentic peach that for now, has simply been called the iPhone 8. There are rumors on the iPhone as the OLED screen, a Touch ID sensor that would be directly on the screen, but we will not know until we see it on Tuesday.

Apple TV: Now on 4K

We expect great news for Apple TV, which come in the form of an updated model with support for 4K video. This would be a nice addition while the current Apple TV is limited to 1080p. Now that Apple is supposed to have $ 1 billion for original content creation, it's even more important that Apple TV owners can see the new shows in ultra-definition .

iOS 11: Bringing Augmented Reality to the Masses

After being in beta for months, Apple will almost certainly announce the date of the final version of iOS 11. iOS 11 includes a number of new features such as improved Live Photos , more storage space thanks to better compression, a new version of iMessage.

But the most interesting thing about iOS 11 could be its integration with ARKit, Apple's new augmented reality platform . ARKit offers developers an easy and powerful way to create AR applications without the rigorous hardware requirements of Google's failed Tango platform.

iOS 11 will also give iPad users something to look forward to, since it brings a number of welcome enhancements, including a dock extension, a new App Switcher and drag-and-drop functionality, which will finally allow users to copy and paste text, links and files between various applications. Apple Pencil support is also expanding thanks to the new Instant Markup and Instant Note features.

MacOS: High Sierra should be out soon

Apple is also giving its desktop operating system a facelift with the eye-catching MacOS High Sierra. Like iOS 11, High Sierra has been in beta since spring, but we expect Apple to announce an official release date for the new version of macOS on Tuesday as well.

High Sierra will not include major initial changes, but when it's finally ready, you'll enjoy enhanced versions of Safari and Photos, along with a series of under-the-hood updates such as Apple's new file system (APFS) and support for the Apple Metal 2 Graphics.

It was news : macOS 10.13 High Sierra is already a reality

One more thing ... AirPods?

In 2016, Apple launched its first wireless headsets and these have become the most popular wireless headsets in the world. While there has not been a ton of rumors about the AirPods, a patent granted to Apple mentions integrated biometric sensors . That could provide users with a more accurate follow-up of health and fitness.

It seems that according to one last hour , yes that we could have an update of the AirPods, something like a version 2.0 .
