It's a fact: If you try an iPhone, you do not go back to Android

The iPhone was introduced for the first time 10 years ago and since then has been increasing its user base for reliability, design, security and innovation. And is that iPhone and iOS are an inseparable binomial, the secret of success of Apple's flagship product . However, some analysts do not seem to understand.

Without going any further, Tony Sacconaghi said yesterday that if the iPhone 8 is delayed , many of its potential buyers will go to other brands. So clear:

IF THE PHONE GOES ON SALE LATER THAN OCTOBER 15, IT WILL BE A CAUSE FOR CONCERN. IF IT IS DELAYED AND CONSUMERS FEEL THEY WILL NOT HAVE IT UNTIL 2018, THEY RUN THE RISK THAT PEOPLE WILL START LOOKING AT OTHER DEVICES.

Undoubtedly a delay always generates a component of dissatisfaction and disenchantment, that is clear. But the reality is that iOS users are much more loyal than Android . Come on, it's much easier to go from Android to iPhone to go the other way.

In fact, Morgan Stanley conducted a survey a few months ago that gave us back numbers that leave no doubt: 92% of iPhone users do not intend to leave the Apple ecosystem .

So, apart from the initial disgust, someone who plans to invest more than a thousand euros on the iPhone 8 , is very unlikely to be content with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Let's not fool ourselves, it is a device spectacular in terms of design and power, but it's not an iPhone . Saying iPhone is synonymous with iOS, intuitiveness, fluency, simplicity ... not to mention that although Apple has not invented anything, it always gives a twist of the nut that makes everything better and easier.

And less with a terminal as expected as the iPhone 8 . We have been using the same design for Apple mobiles since 2014 and finally this year we will see a borderless screen with OLED technology, real 3D face recognition, wireless charging, much more powerful battery, more water resistance and much more. If you're expecting something like the iPhone 8, just wait a little longer.

Also, delays are not something new in Apple. Its users have no problem paying more and sometimes have to wait for premium products. They know it's worth it.

However, obviously a delay always has an impact on the brand image and there will be criticism. Even some might value buying the iPhone 7s, but they will be a minority. But no, no one going to buy an iPhone 8 will go Apple . Besides, they're just rumors. If Apple follows the planned calendar , we can begin to buy it on September 22, although in limited quantities.
