Ni Samsung or Huawei: the best-selling mobile is the iPhone 7

Even with many people switching to Chinese branded handsets like Huawei for its high-end features at low prices , there is still a steady lead in the top-selling mobile ranking. Why should the iPhone always stay in the lead?

According to the latest Market Pulse study, it can be seen clearly that Huawei in particular managed to position itself with a market share of 12% , thus obtaining the second position and slightly surpassing Apple . On the other hand, despite having such a high market share, Huawei has not managed to get any of its phones ranked among the top ten.

Top 10 phones sold this summer

In this ranking, still the third in the market share, the leadership is for Apple , taking first and second position the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, both occupying a total of 6.9% of the global market. At the tail are four Samsung terminals, two Oppo and a Xiaomi phone.

What we can appreciate is that Asian companies are taking control of the smartphone market . But even with all that influence, they can not beat the giant of Cupertino with their iPhone 7 and unfortunately for them, today the next iPhone will be released .

Something that we can also appreciate, is that it is not necessary to have a good mobile and sell it well to occupy much market share . Companies like Huawei, Xiaomi or Samsung have a huge amount of devices to choose from. Very few (or none in the case of Huawei) of these devices reach the top 10 of best-selling mobile phones, but that does not mean that buyers totally reject them.

We know which are the most sold mobiles of this summer and of previous years, but that does not mean that at the end of 2017 everything stays the same . You have to take into account the launch of the new iPhone and all the devices that the other brands are taking out once the new iPhone appears. Surely the leadership of this board stays the same, but you never know.

We must also take into account the very fast growth of Asian brands and flagships of companies like Samsung which always get a gap in the current market (except if exploited).
