Start the countdown: Apple Pay Cash arrives in Spain

Apple Pay has been operating in the United States for a long time, and found a way to get into Europe (but with little support). With the new iOS 11 operating system, Apple Pay adds an interesting feature called "Apple Pay Cash", which will allow us to transfer money between two people through iMessage . But will it be available in Europe?

We bring good news, yesterday Apple asked to register a trademark to the same EUIPO (European Intellectual Property Office) under the name of Apple Pay Cash. This does not mean that the application is directly accepted, as it is currently under review. What we do know is that Apple is planning to bring this advanced payment service to Europe .

Apple Pay Cash

The application has been classified as: "Software used for mobile payments; Computer software for use in transfers between retailers, sellers and merchants using mobile phones using mobile payments "

The Apple Pay application is currently available in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland . Therefore, we can expect that the new brand that intends to register Apple, Apple Pay Cash, will operate in the countries mentioned above.

What can we do with Apple Pay?

As we already knew, we can use it to pay in different establishments without the need to take our credit card, everything with the mobile. The new Apple Pay Cash will take this to something more personal, making it possible to transfer money directly with iMessages . We may request to receive or send money very easily.

When we receive money or pay, the amount will be stored securely in the same application and will be instantly transferred to the person receiving the money, ready to transfer to your bank account.

Apple will not be long in implementing this in Europe, since iOS 11 is in the oven and will leave later this month . Also, seeing the plans that Apple already has, it is clear that they do not want to delay much in the way out of this.
