The AirPods wireless charge will arrive in December

During the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus presentation event, Apple unveiled its wireless charging accessory for smartphones, the AirPower . But the bite apple company also mentioned that the battery of the AirPods would also be charged without using cables.

Apple will market a wireless charging case for AirPods that users can replace with the current one. Yes, it's late, but it's worth it. Especially if you are thinking of buying a new iPhone along with the AirPower dock.

During Apple's special event, the company did not disclose the date or price of the wireless charging case for AirPods. But very recent information tells us that the accessory could reach the market during the month of December .
Will the AirPods have wireless charging this same 2017?

The leak comes from Apple Switzerland (via MacPrime ) and suggests that the launch date of the accessory to charge the AirPods wirelessly will be in December. And its price? Approximately 79 € (69 $) .

The only change made in the design of the new charging case is the repositioning of the battery LED , which has been moved from the inside of the case to the front exterior.

This way, when a user loads the AirPods into the case using a Qi-compatible wireless charging accessory, they can see the battery level of their AirPods without opening the case.

We do not know if, in addition to the new wireless charging case, Apple will offer a version that includes the AirPods themselves for the current price of 179 €. The original AirPods (and their carrying case) were introduced last year and their launch took place in December 2016 . Although its commercialization had serious delays probably due to mass production processes.
